Betty has over three decades of Federal Government service as an IT professional. A lover of history and geneology. She loves reading and freelance writing. She made Amazon best selling author as a one time co-author of “Finding Joy in the Journey –released August 2020). She enjoys being a community advocate and a civic leader. In the face of adversity, she is passionate about empowering women and children to be the best they can be. She also embraces the concepts of service to others and life-long learning. Betty is the mother of 2 adult children; has 1 one daughter-in-law and a special Silky Terrier named Max.
